William "Billy" P. Diehl 70, passed away at his home in Middletown Springs on Friday June 22, 2018. He was born January 9, 1948 in Ashland, PA the son of William J. Diehl and Phyllis Ann (Skulski) Diehl. Billy was a mechanic for most of his career, owning Diehl Brothers Auto in Manville, N.J. with his brother before moving to Vermont in 2002 where he retired from First Light Technologies. He was a great outdoors man, a hunter and an environmentalist with many hobbies. Billy is survived by his wife Bridget Sabataso, by his daughter Rachel Diehl, by his son Primo Sabataso, by his granddaughter "Delilah Rose", by his brother Charles "Buddy" Diehl and also by numerous cousins and in-laws. There will be two Celebrations of Billys life August 3, 2018 at his home at 3 P.M. in Middletown Springs and August 25, 2018 at 2 P.M. in Wilburton, P.A. all family and friends are welcome.
