MIDDLETOWN SPRINGS — Wayne Curtis Lockwood, 67, died Friday, Feb. 16, 2024, at the UVM Medical Center in Burlington. He was born January 15, 1957, in Middlebury, VT, the son of Arnold and Ruth (Davis) Lockwood.

He was a truck driver for 42 years. Most recently he worked for Fabian Earth Moving, Ferguson Waterworks, and Belden Construction. He enjoyed snowmobiling, fishing, and hunting.

Wayne is survived by his wife of 44 years, Susan M. (Matteson); his daughters, Tanya LaRouche of Pittsford, Tammy (Dan) Crossman of Vergennes, and Tracy (Davy) Russell of Middleburgh, NY; by his brother Roy (Jaquie) Lockwood of Tinmouth; his 6 grandchildren; and his 9 nieces and nephews.

There will be a celebration of life on Sunday, March 3, at the American Legion in Poultney, VT from 2-4pm.
