Velma Lynn Kemper-Hoeflich, age 83 of Poultney, Vermont, died July 10, 2024 at home. Married her loving husband Lee E. Hoeflich, June 28, 1959. Born December 15, 1940 in Pocahontas County, West Virginia to Everett and Della (Dilley) Kemper. The family later moved to Mansfield, Ohio when she was a toddler. She was the youngest of 11 children.
She worked in both health care and education after her children were grown, but most importantly, her children and husband came first. She loved preparing meals for her family, cooking, gardening, reading and crafting.
She is survived by her husband Lee Hoeflich, children Lorri, Tim, Lisa and Michael. Grandchildren Anna, Joshua and Ryan. A Special niece Deb Riei and dear friend Lynda Fleming.
Preceding her in death were her parents and her brothers: Orville, Kenny, Floyd, Lemuel, Keith and sisters: Naomi, Eva Jewell, Sallie, Ruth, Camilee, and Irene.
Burial will be at the Vermont Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Randolph, Vermont.
