Poultney, VT - Thomas D. Austin, 58, died Tuesday December 7th, 2021, at Rutland Regional Medical Center In Rutland, VT. He was born August 17, 1963, in Waterbury, CT, the son of Emery and Karen Austin. Tom married Rose Illsley Austin October 3, 1987, in Terryville, CT. Tom was a truck driver for Joe and Laura Rojcewicz of Fort Ann for the past 5 years and in his spare time enjoyed, riding his motor cycle, watching his Patriots football, tinkering with his old car, and enjoyed helping friends and family. He is survived by his wife Rose, of Poultney, VT, by his Daughter, Tina Henderson and Husband Michael, of Rochester, NY, son Chad I. Austin of Simpsonville, SC, parents Emery and Karen Austin of Terryville, CT, Father In Law Richard Illsley of Hampton, NY, Brothers Edmond, Donald, Randall, sisters Kathy, Kelley, Grandchildren Rene, Israel, Asante, Joziah, Michael and great grandchild Yannaelis. Tom was predeceased by his brother Daniel Austin, Grandfather George Elton, and Mother In law Anna Illsley. A celebration of life event will be held at a later date.
