Robert Inex Perry

POULTNEY, VT – In loving memory of our father, the family announces the passing of Robert Inex Perry, formerly of Poultney, Vermont. Robert, 86, passed away on Tuesday, December 23, 2025, at Rutland Regional Medical Center.

Robert was a dedicated employee of Carris Reels in Rutland, Vermont, where he worked for over 25 years. He was a true outdoorsman who found great joy in hunting and fishing.

He is survived by his loving children: Robert D. Perry and his wife Rita of Fort Edward, NY; Penny Messer and her husband Dave of Wells, VT; Peggy Perry of Wells, VT; Scott Perry and his wife Colleen of Allenstown, NH; and Winnie Perry of Campobello, SC. He also leaves behind his surviving brothers Philip, Wesley, and Richard Perry; his surviving sisters Patty Greenwood, Nancy McMore, and Irene Bowen; as well as several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Robert was predeceased by his beloved wife, Mabel Elizabeth Perry; his son, Randy Allen Perry; one granddaughter; and one great-granddaughter. He was also predeceased by his siblings: Steven Perry, Russell Perry, Charlie Perry, Winifred Scribner, Jane Marie Perry, and Leslie Perry
