Rutland, VT Richard W. McFarren Richard W. McFarren 73, formerly of Poultney died Wednesday afternoon December 21, 2011 at Rutland regional Medical Center. He was born March 9, 1939 in Cambridge, NY the son of the late Warner G. McFarren & Margery (Phillips) Brown. He was a veteran serving with the United State Air Force . Richard was the manager of Duda Water Sports on Lake Bomoseen for many years. He is survived by his sisters, Judith Grant, of Rutland, Linda Duda, of Poultney and Sharon Lutton, of New Haven, By his Aunt Patricia Dillon, of Poultney and by several nieces, nephews and cousins. A memorial service will be held on January 6, 2012 at 2 P.M. at the Roberts-Aubin Funeral Home. Located at 266 Allen Ave., Poultney, VT. The Rev. Alex Stringer will officiate. Burial will be at a later date in Poultney Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Foley Cancer Center at 160 Allen Street Rutland, VT 05701.
