Patricia L. Pfenning 77, died Saturday evening May 7, 2016 at Rutland Regional Medical Center. She was born October 28, 1938 in Rutland and was raised by her mother and step father Vera (Davis) and Bud Foley and was a graduate of Poultney High School. Patricia was a member of St. Raphaels Catholic Church and enjoyed helping others, spending time with her family and was an avid birdwatcher. She is survived by her sons, Jeff Perkins, of Wells and Joe Perkins, of Poultney; by her sister Sharon Gage, of Hampton, NY and by her seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Patricia was predeceased by her first husband, Donald Perkins, by her second husband Roger Gonthier, her third husband Bill Pfenning and by her son James Perkins. Visiting Hours will be held on Tuesday May 10, 2016 from 5-7 P.M. at the Roberts-Aubin Funeral Home, located at 266 Allen Ave., Poultney, VT. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday May 11, 2016 at 10 A.M. at St. Raphaels Catholic Church, with the Rev. Daniel Jordan as the celebrant. Burial will follow in St. Raphael Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Rutland County Humane Society at 765 Stevens Road, Pittsford, VT 05763.
