Norman W. Bradley Sr. 80, died Sunday September 8, 2013 at Rutland Regional Medical Center.
Born February 16, 1933 in Bridgewater, VT the son of the late Stanley and Leah (Bridge) Bradley. He was a graduate of Rutland High School.
Norm served in the United States Navy after graduation.
He was employed as a set up man for General Electric in Fort Edward, NY for thirty five years.
Norm was a former member of the Eagles Club in South Glens Falls and also a former member of the Moose Club in Rutland. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, boating, Water Skiing, snowmobiling, racing Go Karts and doing auto body work.
He loved his camp in Middletown Springs which he had since 1976 and enjoyed so much that he resided there the last years of his life.
He is survived by his companion, Linda Gemmell, of Tinmouth,VT, by his children, Chris Bradley, of Fort Edward, NY, Rick Bradley, of Hudson Falls, NY, Sherry Dufour and her husband Michael, of Argyle, NY and Bonnie Dufour and her husband Ron, of Middletown Springs, VT, by his siblings, Barry Bradley and his wife Bonnie, of Poultney,VT, Elton Sonny Bradley and his companion Donna, of Hudson Falls, NY, Marlene Reiner of PA, Tanis Higgins and her husband Robert, of Hudson Falls, NY, By his eight grandchildren and his eleven great-grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was predeceased by a son, Norman W. Bradley,Jr. and his sisters, Patricia Harrington and Sandra Young.
Services will be held at the convenience of the family.
