In Loving Memory of Norma Kinney

October 28, 1931 – October 8, 2025

Norma Kinney, age 93, passed away peacefully on October 8, 2025, at Glens Falls Hospital.

Born in Hasbrouck Heights, New Jersey, Norma was the cherished daughter of the late Nicholas and Lila (VanDien) Borichevsky. A woman of quiet strength and gentle spirit, she found joy in life's simple pleasures—traveling to new places, crocheting and knitting with care, and watching birds with wonder and delight.

Norma was a devoted mother and grandmother whose kindness and warmth touched all who knew her. She is survived by her son, Timothy Kinney of Hampton, NY; her daughter, Dr. Tina Evans of New York City; her brother, Ronald Borichevsky of Goffstown, NH; four grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Osmyn L. Kinney; her brother, Donald Borichevsky; and her sister, Nancy Miller.

A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 15th at 12:00 PM at the Roberts-Aubin Funeral Home in Poultney, Vermont. Burial will follow at Mettowee Valley Cemetery in Pawlet, Vermont. Friends and family are invited to call on Tuesday, October 14th from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the funeral home.

Norma's legacy of love, creativity, and quiet resilience will live on in the hearts of those she held dear.
