Michael Grant McGreevy, 54, died unexpectedly at his home Tuesday, August 15, 2017. He was born May 12, 1963 in Rutland, VT the son of Gerald and Joyce (Grant) McGreevy. He was a 1981graduate of Poultney High School where he played football for the Blue Devils. Michael had many pets who he adored throughout his life including Sweetheart and Zoey. He also enjoyed fishing, camping, picking blackberries and loved listening to music. He was an avid Jeopardy and Wheel of Fortune fan. His wit and humor were infectious to all and Michaels love for his family will be always on our minds. He is survived by his parents Gerald and Joyce McGreevy of Poultney, by his daughter Carlee McGreevy of Granville, NY, by his brother John McGreevy of Merritt Island, FL, by his sisters Sandra Winn and husband Stephen of Hartford, NY and Susan Kasuba of Poultney and several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by his brother Keith McGreevy, 1998 and by his brother-in-law James Kasuba, 2015. Visitation will be held Saturday, August 19, 2017 at the Roberts-Aubin Funeral Home, 266 Allen Ave, Poultney starting at 2pm until the Celebration of Life, starting at 3pm.
