Joan W. Tomczyk 75, formerly of Poultney, died suddenly Saturday, March 3, 2012 in Mt. Holly, N.J. She was born November 19, 1936, the daughter of Catherine (Williams) and John S. Williams. She graduated from Poultney High School and worked for many years as a bookkeeper at the Poultney Dress Shop. She was predeceased by her husband Stanley Tomczyk who died in 1998. She is survived by two daughters Donna Oiler and Debra Bottomms, one granddaughter Christina Oiler, one sister Nan Kuck, three nieces and several cousins.
