Jamie Lynn Smith-Allen, 44, of East Poultney, passed away at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was born on September 5, 1981, in Eau Claire, Wisconsin, to her mother, Sherry Smith. 

Jamie was known by those who loved her as fiercely independent, loyal, an avid animal lover, and someone who never allowed herself to be held back by her chronic illness. After meeting and marrying her husband, Eugene “Gene” Allen, they made the move from New York to their beautiful rural home here in Vermont. She spent long days outside tending to her garden, playing with her dog, Max, or enjoying time at their backyard shooting range. When the cool night air rolled in, Jamie would come inside to play Fortnite with her friends and family. 

She is survived by her beloved husband, Gene Allen; Her mother sherry smith and Partner Pete Mcintyre of Corinth, NY. Her Dad, Larry Johnson, of NY her children, Caitlyn Davis (partner Ryan Cadet), Whitehall NY her daughter Adrianna Smith from Corinth NY, her step-daughters, who she always said was her daughters Gina Allen her (partner Nick Stanton), of Hudson Falls, NY, and Julie Montanez and her husband Richie Montanez of Vermont, her father in-law, Curtis Norton from Glens Falls, NY, and her sisters, Linda Sabo, Debbie Johnson, and Carrie Johnson; her grandchildren, Bay Pritchard, Juniper Pritchard, Maggie Woodard, and Richie Montanez; her niece, Raven Sabo; her nephew, Hunter Mitchell; and many extended family members and friends. 

Jamie was predeceased by her son, Aaron Smith; her grandmother, Lorraine St. Claire; and her mother-in-law, Lila Norton
