Obituary

Bennington- James F. Daley James F. "Ding" Daley 79, formerly of Poultney died Friday May 12, 2017 at Crescent Manor Nursing Home in Bennington. He was born July 26, 1937 in Rutland the son of George and Jenny (Rejesky) Daley. Ding lived in Poultney most of his life, he was employed by the U.S. postal Service as a custodian for over 20 years in Poultney. He served in the United States Air Force and was honorable discharged August 20, 1962. Ding enjoyed yard work, mowing lawns and shoveling snow. He is survived by his siblings, William Daley of Poultney, Kathy Frost of Shushan, NY and Nancy Darius of Fort Lauderdale, FL, and also by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. Ding was predeceased by his brother George Daley and sister Mary Pagliarulo. Visiting hours for friends and family will be held on Wednesday May 17 from 4-6 pm at the Roberts-Aubin Funeral Home, located at 266 Allen Ave, Poultney, VT. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday May 18, at 10 am at St. Raphael's the Arch Angel Catholic Church, with the Rev. Rev. Lourduraja Simeone, H.G.N as the celebrant. Burial will be Friday May 19 at 1 pm in St. Raphael Cemetery in Poultney, VT. Memorial contributions may be made to the Poultney Rescue Squad at P.O. Box 76 Poultney, VT 05764.
