Helen Thomas Jones, 102, of Poultney, VT., died September 11, 2025, at Slate Valley Nursing home in Granville, NY. Born in Poultney, Vermont on July 23, 1923, she was the daughter of the late Arthur Thomas and Mildred Thomas. Helen grew up in Poultney, Vermont and graduated from Poultney High School before attending Green Mountain College. She had a lengthy career at Telescope Folding Furniture in the office before retiring.

Helen spent her retirement snowbirding in St. Petersburg Florida and returning to Poultney in the summer months where she was a part of many organizations. The Welsh Presbyterian church was a huge part of Helen's life. She was also a member of the St. David's society and the Poultney Woman's club.

She is predeceased by her husband of many years Lloyd Jones, her brothers, Harold Thomas, (Poultney) Charles Thomas, (Syracuse, NY), Kenneth Thomas, (Poultney) and 2 sisters Mary Louise Beebe, (Poultney) and Gloria Hoague, (Poultney) and many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews and great-great nieces and nephews.

A funeral service for Helen will be held Thursday September 25th at 11:00 am at the Welsh Presbyterian Church of Poultney. Donations in Helen's memory may be made to the Welsh Presbyterian church.
