Poultney/ EAST WINDSOR, CT Frances S. Fran Chase, 72, beloved wife for 49 years to James A. Chase, died peacefully with her family on Thursday August 4, 2011, after a long illness. Fran was born in Poultney, VT the daughter of Jacob and Mary (Kushina) Frazier. Before her retirement, she had worked at Keystone Box Co. of Warehouse Point, the East Windsor Post Office and the East Windsor High School cafeteria. Fran was a member of the First Congregational Church of East Windsor. She liked working in her flower garden, going for rides in her fathers 54 Chevy to get ice cream or pizza, going out for lunch with her friends from church, walks with her husband and listening to music on WJMJ. Fran will be dearly missed by her family. Fran is also survived by her daughters, Vicky Fauteux and her husband Sylvain of Ellington and Linda LeBreux and her husband David of Brentwood, TN; her sister, Mary Jurnak and her husband Ed of Poultney, VT; her grandsons, Mathieu and Ross Fauteux and Daniel and Steven LeBreux; her nephew, Steve Jurnak; her niece, Cindy McMann and several cousins including Stacia Moriarty and Florence Wunderlin. Fran was predeceased by a sister, Florence Marshal. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday August 10, 2011 at 12:00 p.m. at the Roberts-Aubin funeral Home. Located at 266 Allen Ave. Poultney, Vt Burial will follow in Pleasant View Cemetery in Middletown Springs, VT.
