Dora R. Roberts 91, died Saturday June 3, 2017 at Mountain View Center in Rutland. She was born November 15, 1925 in Poultney the daughter of Maurice and Mabel (Williams) Roberts. Dora was a graduate of Poultney High School Class of 1942 She married Gordon Roberts at the East Poultney Baptist Church on June 29, 1947. Dora enjoyed cooking and having family get togethers, knitting, crocheting and gardening. Survivors are her two sons, Maurice G. Roberts and wife Susan of West Barnet, VT and Jon "Jack" D. Roberts and wife Diane of Poultney, by her special granddaughter Jennifer A. Ullrich and husband John, granddaughter Kelly Russell and husband Wade and grandson Jeffrey A. Roberts and wife Billy Jo. By her three great-grandchildren, Jacob, Molly and Connor and a 4th great granddaughter expected in October. Also by nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her parents, by her husband, Gordon Roberts who died July 23, 1987 and her brother M. Raymond Roberts. Graveside services will be held on Saturday June 10, 2017 at 1 P.M. in Poultney Cemetery with the Rev. Robert Flower officiating.
