Daniel T. Danielson 79, died Monday afternoon November 19, 2018 at his residence after a brief illness.
He was born July 26, 1939 in Somerville, NJ the son of Olav and Helen (Classon) Danielson.
Dan was a graduate of N.H.R.H.S. in Annandale, NJ class of 1957.
He and two friends made a pact to enlist in the United States Navy after graduation he was assigned to the Nad Earl which was a tug boat while waiting to attend Submarine school, he served during the cold war.
Dan worked with his father as a carpenter and later went to work at IBM and Skyline Corporation as the quality assurance Manager retiring in 2010.
He was an avid motorcyclist with his wife Linda and a member of the South West Freedom Riders, enjoyed camping, reading, fixing things around the house and spending time with his family.
Dan is survived by his wife Linda (House) Danielson who he married in 1984 in Poultney, by his children, Cynthia Ann Flagg and husband Mark of North Clarendon, Thomas Danielson and wife Jo of Pittsburg, Pa and Christopher Danielson and wife Kelly of Easton, PA, by his grandchildren, Rachael, Jacob, Connor, Ian and Shaun, by his two great-grandchildren Beau and Ose.
He was predeceased by his parents.
There will be a celebration of his life this spring.
