Charles A. Parker 71, died Tuesday August 2, 2016 at his residence after a brief illness, with his loving family by his side. He was born October 22, 1944 in Rutland the son of Elmer and Dora (Harrington) Parker. Charles married his wife Margaret Tardie in Granville, NY on September 4, 1965. He was employed for many years at Telescope Casual Furniture in Granville. Charles was a member of the Modern Woodsman of America, V.A.S.A., Spruce Knob Ramblers and a former member of the Middletown Springs Fire Dept. He enjoyed haying, fishing, four wheeling and spending time with his grandchildren. Survivors include his wife Margaret Parker of Middletown Springs, two daughters, Kimberly Brown and companion Carl Haynes and Jodi Parker and companion Jim Mars, by his brothers, Paul and wife Judy, Earl and wife Jackie and Bobby Parker and wife Virginia, by his sisters, Charlotte Baker and husband Norvin, Dorothy Reed, Sylvia Parker and husband Norm, Nancy Bealmear and Jane Dorr, by his grandchildren, Alicia Parker and companion Ben Waite, Ryan Parker, Katlin Brown and companion Kevin Lilly and Kallie Haynes and by his Great-grandson Payton Parker. Also by a special niece and care taker, Anne Reed and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by his parents and a brother Billy Parker and his sister Pauline. Funeral Services will be held on Monday August 8, 2016 at 1 P.M., at the Roberts-Aubin Funeral Home in Poultney, located at 266 Allen ave., Poultney. The Rev. Andrew Carlson will officiate. Visiting hours will be from 11 A.M. Until the time of the service at 1 P.M. Burial will follow in Pleasant view cemetery in Middletown Springs.
